Rocks of the Ages

I have a fascination with the human story, not just what has happened in the last 2,000 years, but what has happened over the last 60,000. That fascination has contributed to y gravitation to rocks as a support. As I paint away, I like about humanity’s achievements and what it means to be human. Additionally, I feel almost shamanistic as I shape an image in response to something that has a pre-existing symbolism, history and aesthetic.
